Equity Analyst for a Day: Interactive Investment Challenge
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Irina Răilean, CFA, Founder of Mosaiq8, for joining us on October, 23 at our first FSEGA Investment Club event of this academic year and for delivering such an engaging and insightful session. Participants had the opportunity to better understand how financial analysts evaluate listed companies, explore key fundamentals driving investment decisions, and gain exposure to real-world analytical thinking.
The session also featured an interactive investment challenge, where students worked in teams to assess two companies, supported by Irina and few Club Board members who are already active in the industry and provided guidance from a professional perspective. The experience concluded with a role-play investment committee, debating BUY vs. SELL decisions based on the presented analyses, a dynamic and highly appreciated format that pushed critical reasoning and teamwork skills to the forefront.
